Teens 4 Good (T4G)

Teens 4 Good, an urban farm program, has a half acre farm at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education which, in one season, more than 2,900 pounds of produce was harvested and sold at the Roxborough Shop Rite.

Teens take leadership roles from tilling land and sowing seeds to harvesting and selling produce. They are responsible for all aspects of the venture, including packaging and delivering goods, finances and marketing.

About 10% of the harvest is donated to North Light’s food pantry.
