North Light offers tutoring for children and youth in elementary and secondary school
in a variety of subjects including some foreign languages, and SAT prep. Certified
teachers and qualified college students assist each participant in a small group
setting or one-on-one. North Light is approved as a provider for ‘Classroom Plus,’
Pennsylvania’s Math and Reading Tutoring Program.
Costs for the tutoring program depend somewhat on the needs of the student.
Following a registration fee of $15, fees are as follows:
• one-on-one tutoring with a certified teacher is $30 per hour.
• one-on-one tutoring with a non-certified teacher is $20 per hour.
• small group (no more than four participants) assistance is $20 per hour.
SAT Prep is a year round, 8 session class. During the two-hour weekly class, students
rotate to two classrooms and are instructed by experienced math and critical reading
instructors. A college prep workshop is also offered free of charge.

Summer 2011: July-August
Fall 2011: October-December
